Safeguard On Demand delivers professional security guard services in Vacaville, the Solano County city that sits where Interstate 80 meets Interstate 505, halfway between the Bay Area and Sacramento. With an estimated 103,850 residents (U.S. Census Bureau, July 2025), Vacaville combines a biotechnology manufacturing base, two major hospitals and one of Northern California’s busiest outlet destinations. Our armed security officers and unarmed guards give each of those settings coverage that fits how it actually operates.
Vacaville’s economy is unusually diverse for its size. Kaiser Permanente and Amazon are among its largest employers, the biologics manufacturing campus Lonza acquired from Genentech anchors the life-sciences sector, and Mariani Packing, window manufacturers and distribution tenants fill the business parks off Vaca Valley Parkway. We protect these operations with badge-controlled pharmaceutical facility security, gatehouse officers for manufacturing plants, and trained officers for Vacaville Premium Outlets and the Nut Tree shopping district.
Every Vacaville post is managed from our Sacramento branch with 24/7 live dispatch, a dedicated field supervisor and GPS-verified patrol services. Because the city lies on the I-80 corridor, our supervisors routinely coordinate coverage for clients who also operate in Fairfield, Davis and throughout Solano County. Most new posts are staffed within 24 to 48 hours, and no long-term contract is required.
Full liability and workers' compensation coverage, with certificates of insurance provided before the first shift.
Background-checked, BSIS-certified officers trained for your property type.
Live dispatch and an on-call supervisor every hour of every day.

These are the risks our Vacaville clients ask us to solve most often, and the service that answers each one.
The state awarded Vacaville police $4.4 million to fight organized retail theft, a sign of how seriously the city treats the problem. Standing officers at entrances and high-value departments deter grab-and-run incidents.
Hotels, restaurants and outlet lots along I-80 give thieves quick on-ramps. Marked patrol vehicles and random lot sweeps make those properties a poor choice.
Biologics and pharmaceutical sites must control every door, dock and visitor. Written post orders, badge checks and escort procedures protect regulated spaces.
Fulfillment centers and distribution yards hold loaded trailers overnight. Live-monitored cameras extend coverage across yards that are too large to walk every hour.
Emergency departments and medical office buildings need officers who can calm a tense lobby and still respond decisively when a situation escalates.
From Browns Valley to Lagoon Valley, residential communities want consistent after-hours patrol, vacation checks and prompt response to suspicious activity.
Every property type carries different risks. We match officers, post orders and patrol schedules to the way your Vacaville property actually operates.
Badge enforcement, visitor logs and perimeter rounds for Vacaville's biologics manufacturing campuses and life-sciences suppliers.
Loss-prevention presence and parking-lot patrol for Vacaville Premium Outlets, the Nut Tree district and neighborhood shopping centers.
De-escalation-trained officers for Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center-area clinics, NorthBay VacaValley Hospital-area offices and outpatient buildings.
Gate control, trailer audits and overnight patrol for fulfillment and distribution tenants off I-80 and I-505.
Night officers and parking patrols for hotels and travel-oriented businesses that serve I-80 traffic between the Bay Area and Sacramento.
Community patrol, amenity checks and gate enforcement for planned neighborhoods and homeowners associations across Vacaville.
Vacaville’s mix of high-value manufacturing, destination retail and freeway traffic calls for more than a single type of post. Our officers staff lobby and gatehouse desks as concierge security officers, walk retail corridors as foot patrol guards, and cover large sites with marked vehicle patrols. When a sprinkler or alarm system goes down at a plant or job site, we can have fire watch officers on post while repairs are completed, keeping you in line with fire-code requirements.

Our Standards at a Glance
Vacaville is a crossroads city: shoppers, travelers and freight all pass through on I-80, and some of the risk passes through with them. We plan every post around that reality, from the outlet parking lots to the biotech gatehouse.

Vacaville has invested heavily in public safety technology. In 2023 the California Board of State and Community Corrections awarded the Vacaville Police Department $4.4 million through its Organized Retail Theft Prevention Grant Program, and in July 2025 the city opened a Real-Time Information Center that links dispatch, criminal databases and live camera feeds. Private officers complement that work at the property level, providing the constant on-site presence and private security documentation that a police department cannot provide for every business.
The city’s security demand clusters in a few areas. The outlet and Nut Tree district along I-80 needs parking lot security and uniformed retail officers; the business parks near Vaca Valley Parkway need industrial facility security for manufacturers and distributors; and hospital campuses require healthcare security around the clock. Growing neighborhoods on the edges of the city add construction site security to the list.
Our Sacramento branch covers the full I-80 corridor, so clients with properties in Vacaville can extend the same post orders to Vallejo, Elk Grove, Roseville and the rest of Sacramento County. See the complete list on our service areas page.
