About Safeguard On Demand — Security Solutions Built Around the Problem, Since 2015

Safeguard On Demand doesn’t sell security services. We build security solutions. There is a difference. A service posts a guard and sends an invoice. A solution starts with a question — what is actually causing the problem on this property? — and only then decides what the right mix of officers, patrols, technology and procedures should be. That approach has guided us since 2015, and it is why clients across California have stayed with us for five, eight and ten years at a time.

Our Story: Getting to the Heart of the Problem

Safeguard On Demand, Inc. was founded in Orange County in 2015 by David Nawabi with a simple frustration: too many security companies were treating symptoms. A property had break-ins, so a guard was added. The break-ins moved to the next building, and the guard stayed. Nobody asked why the break-ins were happening in the first place.

We built the company around the opposite habit. Before we write a proposal, we walk the site. We look at lighting, sightlines, access points, after-hours traffic, tenant behavior and incident history. We talk to the people who live and work there. Then we design a solution that addresses the root cause — sometimes that is a standing officer, sometimes a mobile patrol on a randomized schedule, sometimes remote video monitoring with voice-down deterrence, and often a combination. The goal is not to make the problem move. The goal is to make it stop.

Today Safeguard On Demand is a California-licensed private patrol operator with roughly 130 officers, six offices and coverage across 13 counties — from Los Angeles and Orange County to San Diego, the Inland Empire, the Bay Area and Sacramento. We are a minority-owned, SAM.gov-registered contractor (CAGE 17QW5) and a 24/7 operation with a live dispatch line that a supervisor answers at 3 a.m.

Pre-Screened Armed & Unarmed Security Officers

Every Safeguard On Demand officer holds a current California BSIS Guard Card and clears a DOJ and FBI fingerprint background check before the first shift. Armed officers add a BSIS Firearms Permit, range qualification and annual requalification. Initial and refresher training is delivered through BSIS-approved providers and covers de-escalation, use-of-force law, CPR/first aid, report writing and site-specific post orders. Officers are employees, not contractors — with health, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k), paid time off and holiday pay — because people who are treated well show up, stay and care about the property they protect.

Custom-Tailored Security Solutions, Not Off-the-Shelf Packages

Every property has a different problem. A construction site loses copper at night; a clinic deals with agitated visitors at 10 a.m.; an apartment community has trespassers in the parking structure; a retail center has organized theft on weekends. The same guard, the same schedule and the same post orders cannot solve all four. That is why every engagement starts with a free, no-obligation site assessment and ends with written post orders built for that property — and why our supervisors revisit the plan every quarter and whenever the incident pattern changes.

Business, Corporate, Residential & Public-Sector Protection

We protect commercial buildings, residential communities, healthcare networks, places of worship, job sites, public agencies and events across California. Whatever the setting, clients get the same operating standard: hourly activity reports with timestamped photos, GPS-verified patrols, a named account manager, and a supervisor who checks posts in person. Reports are reviewed every morning so that a problem on Tuesday night is addressed on Wednesday morning — not discovered at the end of the month.

“We are not in the business of putting a body in a chair. We are in the business of making the problem go away.”
— David Nawabi, President & CEO, Safeguard On Demand

What we do

Security Solutions Built Around Your Property

Our solutions combine licensed officers, marked vehicle patrols, fire watch, concierge and lobby staffing, remote video monitoring and professional risk advisory. Below are a few of the environments where that approach makes the biggest difference — and the full list lives on our Industries We Serve page.

Car Dealership Security

Dealership lots lose vehicles, catalytic converters and wheels after hours. Our solution pairs an overnight standing officer or marked patrol with camera-verified monitoring, so the lot is covered without paying for coverage it doesn’t need. Mobile patrol services →

Warehouse Security

Cargo theft and after-hours break-ins rarely happen by accident — they follow weak dock procedures and unlit yards. We fix the procedure first, then staff the gate, dock and perimeter accordingly. Warehouse security →

Reception and Lobby Desk Security

A lobby officer is the first impression and the first line of access control. Ours screen visitors, manage deliveries and de-escalate calmly, so tenants feel welcome and uninvited guests do not get past the desk. Lobby & front desk security →

Hotel Security

Hotels need protection that guests barely notice. Our officers patrol corridors, parking and pool areas, handle disturbances discreetly and coordinate with front-desk staff on every incident. Hotel & motel security →

Business Park Patrol & Monitoring

Multi-tenant parks need coverage that no single tenant can justify alone. Shared marked patrols, parking enforcement and after-hours monitoring spread the cost across the property while giving every tenant a visible presence. Business park security →

Executive Protection

For executives, public figures and people facing a credible threat, we provide discreet, licensed close-protection officers and secure transport — planned around your schedule, not ours. Private transport & executive protection →
