Our armed security guards and unarmed officers protect wineries and processing plants, distribution centers, hospitals, shopping centers and residential communities along the Highway 99 corridor. Clients with sites in Turlock, Stockton and throughout the valley work with one supervisor and one reporting standard.
Modesto made headlines by recording zero criminal homicides in 2025, the first such year in at least four decades, according to figures announced by the Modesto Police Department. Property crime is the more persistent problem. FBI data for 2024 show 5,288 property crimes, including 3,983 larceny-thefts and 720 motor vehicle thefts. Safeguard On Demand focuses its Modesto programs on patrol security services, parking lot security and warehouse security.

These are the risks our Modesto clients ask us to solve most often, and the service that answers each one.
Larceny-theft accounted for 3,983 of Modesto's 5,288 property crimes in 2024. Retail centers and parking lots see most of it.
With 720 vehicle thefts reported in 2024, fleet yards, dealerships and apartment carports need visible patrol.
Processing plants and wineries run multiple shifts and heavy truck traffic that demand gate control and visitor logging.
Distribution sites along Highway 99 and in the Beard Tract industrial area need trailer checks and overnight patrol.
The American Graffiti Festival and downtown performances draw crowds that require screening, parking control and crowd management.
Vacant buildings and active job sites attract trespass, vandalism and metal theft, which standing guards and fire watch help prevent.
Every property type carries different risks. We match officers, post orders and patrol schedules to the way your Modesto property actually operates.
Gate officers, truck logging and perimeter patrol for wineries, processors and cold-storage operations.

Modesto businesses operate around the clock, and many sit on large lots with multiple gates. Safeguard On Demand builds coverage around those operations: standing guards at shipping gates, marked patrol vehicles for multi-site portfolios, and remote video monitoring where an officer is not needed full time. Each patrol is GPS-verified and reported daily.

Our Standards at a Glance
Modesto proved in 2025 what focused prevention can do. We bring the same discipline to the loading docks, parking lots and processing plants where property crime still happens every night.

Modesto recorded zero criminal homicides in 2025, down from seven in 2024, according to figures announced by the Modesto Police Department and state officials in January 2026. Property crime remains the everyday risk: FBI Uniform Crime Reporting data for 2024 show 5,288 property crimes, including 585 burglaries and 720 vehicle thefts. That is where private security delivers the most value for Modesto businesses.
Downtown Modesto holds county government, the Gallo Center for the Arts and the historic cruise route on 10th and 11th Streets. The College Area surrounds Modesto Junior College’s East Campus, the historic Graceada Park neighborhood sits nearby, and north Modesto and Village One carry newer neighborhoods and retail such as Vintage Faire Mall. Industrial users concentrate along Highway 99 and in the Beard Tract. We match foot patrol, concierge officers and fire watch to each area.

Our 24/7 dispatch center coordinates scheduling from our Sacramento branch, so a supervisor is reachable at every hour, not just during business hours.
