Safeguard On Demand provides professional security guard services in Santa Clara, a city at the center of Silicon Valley’s semiconductor, data center and live-event economy. We deploy BSIS-licensed armed security guards and unarmed security officers to protect technology campuses, data facilities, hotels, stadium-area properties, retail centers and residential communities, from the Tasman corridor and Levi’s Stadium to Santa Clara University, the Old Quad and the El Camino Real business district.
Santa Clara is home to an estimated 133,446 residents, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s July 2025 estimate, and its largest employers include Applied Materials, Intel, AMD, Kaiser Permanente and Nvidia. The city also hosts dozens of data centers served by its municipal utility, Silicon Valley Power. Protecting that concentration of intellectual property, hardware and infrastructure requires data center and technology facility security built on strict access control and careful documentation.
We tailor coverage to each property’s schedule. Corporate campuses receive badge verification and after-hours rounds, hotels and venues receive guest-facing officers and crowd support on event days, and apartment and condominium communities receive nightly patrols and garage checks. With our Silicon Valley branch just up the road in Mountain View, supervisors can reach Santa Clara quickly, and 24/7 dispatch supports every post without a long-term contract.
Full liability and workers' compensation coverage, with certificates of insurance provided before the first shift.
Background-checked, BSIS-certified officers trained for your property type.
Live dispatch and an on-call supervisor every hour of every day.

These are the risks our Santa Clara clients ask us to solve most often, and the service that answers each one.
Server halls, labs and engineering buildings require layered access control, visitor escorts and continuous logging to protect equipment and data.
Football games, concerts and international events at Levi's Stadium flood nearby hotels, offices and parking areas with traffic and visitors.
Santa Clara reported 519 motor vehicle thefts in 2024, and corporate lots, hotel garages and apartment parking see frequent break-ins.
Shopping centers along El Camino Real, Stevens Creek Boulevard and the Mission College area face shoplifting and organized theft.
Office parks and research buildings that empty out at night are exposed to burglary, copper theft and equipment loss without regular patrol.
High-density housing and mixed-use projects near the Tasman corridor leave materials and heavy equipment on site around the clock.
Every property type carries different risks. We match officers, post orders and patrol schedules to the way your Santa Clara property actually operates.
Gate control, shipping-dock oversight and perimeter patrol for chipmakers, equipment suppliers and advanced manufacturing plants.
Badge verification, lab escorts and after-hours checks for R&D buildings where prototypes and proprietary work are kept.
Guest-focused officers, event support and parking patrol for hotels near the Santa Clara Convention Center and the stadium.
Calm, de-escalation-trained officers for medical campuses and clinics, including the Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center.
Campus patrol, event staffing and facility checks for Santa Clara University, Mission College and nearby educational properties.
Crowd management, entry screening and lot control for events at Levi's Stadium and California's Great America.
Technology clients in Santa Clara need officers who follow procedure precisely and write clear reports. We pair fixed standing guards at controlled entrances with marked vehicle patrols that cover multiple buildings on GPS-verified routes, and we add remote video monitoring for yards, lots and loading docks between rounds. Our risk-advisory team can review your site before a single officer is posted.
Technology clients often ask for documentation before a contract is signed, and we are ready with it. Safeguard On Demand holds a California private patrol operator license, has operated for 11+ years and employs 130+ BSIS-licensed officers across California, led by a team with 30+ years of combined law-enforcement and private-security experience. Officers complete our security training program, armed officers hold BSIS exposed-firearm permits, and we are fully bonded and insured. Learn why Silicon Valley businesses choose us.
Our Standards at a Glance
Santa Clara runs on two clocks: the steady rhythm of chip labs and server halls, and the surge of nearly seventy thousand fans on a game day. Our program is built to handle both without letting either one distract from the other.

Crime in Santa Clara is trending down. FBI Uniform Crime Reporting data show reported property crime fell from 3,701 offenses in 2023 to 3,300 in 2024, about 11 percent, and violent crime fell from 264 to 240. The violent crime rate of about 182 per 100,000 residents is roughly half the national average. Larceny still accounted for 2,336 of the 2024 property offenses, which is why visible deterrence matters most in parking areas and retail settings.
North of Highway 101, the Tasman corridor combines Levi’s Stadium, California’s Great America, the convention center, hotels and new high-density housing. Levi’s hosted Super Bowl LX in February 2026 along with matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and it still brings large crowds on event days. South of the freeway, the Old Quad and the Santa Clara University area need neighborhood patrol, while office campuses along Central Expressway and Bowers Avenue call for business park security and fire watch during system outages.
Our Silicon Valley branch supervises Santa Clara as part of a single South Bay operation, so clients can extend one program to San Jose, Sunnyvale, Milpitas and Palo Alto. A complete list is on our service areas page.

Cost depends on hours, staffing and whether the post calls for armed officers or unarmed officers. A data center entrance, a game-day parking post and a residential patrol are priced differently, so we assess the site free of charge before quoting.
